The owner of our gym threw a membership appreciation party at his Venice home. Were it not for this fiesta, we would have never met because Rebecca is way too smart to wake up at 4:45am to hit the 5:25am class that was Ben's choice time slot. When Ben saw Rebecca that night standing in the backyard, it was if a spotlight was shining down on her and he was utterly compelled to approach!
As they conversed, Rebecca invited Ben to her book signing to be held that next weekend. At the event, Ben waited in line with the other eager patrons to get their books signed. Upon approaching the table, Rebecca cheerfully said "you made it... would you like me to sign your book?" at which point Ben responded "Yes, but on a dinner date"... and the rest is history!
